Matia is a talented actor fluent in Te Reo Māori,  in the New Zealand film and television industry. He has appeared in notable projects such as Ahikaaroa (2019) and Kai Rakau (2017) as well as most recently, Ka Whawhai Tonu, and soon to be released End of the Valley, shot in Rotorua. To further develop his craft, he completed the Peter Feeney Acting Course at The Actors Studio in 2020. With a strong dedication to authentic storytelling, Matia is committed to bringing diverse narratives to the screen.
